The 5001 mobile lifter
an elegant workhorse

SureHands beautifully designed 5001 mobile lifts are ideal for both private and professional applications. Sturdy aluminum alloy construction provides longevity even under intensive use.

Lifting smoothly from all positions
With its wide lifting range, this mobile is capable of lifting from the floor or from a high bed or crib. It can even be used to ambulate many adults with body support or walking harness. Its low wheelbase requires a space of only 4 inches of clearance under bed or bath.

A variety of uses
The 5001 mobiles are used to lift in bedrooms & bathrooms, therapy and clinic rooms, schools, homes and hospitals. It is only one of our mobile systems that can use either the SureHands body support or slings.

Durable construction
The aluminum alloy construction makes this unit maintenance friendly, corrosion resistant and guaranteed to enjoy a long life span.

For frequent use
The completely charged batteries can handle 120 lifting movements. An 8 hour charge is sufficient for intensive use.

Maneuverable and user-friendly
The base is adjustable from 24.8 inches to a maximum of 46 inches. So narrow hallways or wide wheelchairs are no problem. And the short base helps even further to make those tight turns.

Mechanical emergency down & anti-entrapment device
As additional safety features, the 5001 mobiles are equipped with a mechanical emergency down. This allows the user to manually rotate the actuator spindle if power fails. An anti-entrapment device located on the bottom of the actuator prevents the boom arm from lowering beyond a point where it meets abnormal resistance.

The 1600 series mobile lifters
1640/1641/1630
sound and budget-friendly lifting systems

SureHands 1600 series mobile lifters are ideal for use in the private market and certain professional situations. The modular and lean design is perfect for travel. These lifters are economical and reliable.

Wide lifting range
The 1640 & 1641 are tall and able to lift from the floor to a very high bed or crib. The 1640 can even be used to ambulate many adults with the SureHands body support or walking harness. Its low wheelbase requires a space of only 4 inches of clearance under the bed or bath.

Ideal for home use
The adjustable width of the 1600 series mobiles can make them narrow (26.4 inches) to go through most door openings and wide enough (46.8 inches) to extend around wide wheelchairs or recliners. The model 1630 is even shorter and is equipped with an integrated spreader bar for use with all SureHands slings. Its shorter wheelbase and lower height make it ideal for use in tight spaces. The very low base height of 4 inches slides under most beds making it possible to lift the patient completely above the bed instead of from a sitting position at the side of the bed.

SureHands Sturdiness and practicality
With fully charged batteries these mobiles can handle 120 lifting movements. The 1640 & 1641 mobiles have a lift capacity of 386 lbs. The detachable control box gives the customer the option to charge batteries in a location separate from the mobile lifter. A second control box could be purchased to insure that one is always charged so that the lifter can be used non-stop.

Mechanical emergency down & anti-entrapment device
As an additional safety feature, the 1600 series mobiles are equipped with a mechanical emergency down. This allows the user to manually rotate the actuator spindle if power fails. An anti-entrapment device is located on the bottom of the actuator to prevent the boom arm from lowering beyond a point where it meets abnormal resistance.
