Quality Service & Repairs

Even the best mobility equipment needs occasional repair from time to time. If you find that your mobility equipment is not working properly, our service and repair departments across New York State stand ready to provide you with the technical expertise to get your equipment back in excellent working order. We understand that bringing your equipment here is not always the easiest, therefore, our reliable service technicians can come to your home and/or workplace.

If we are contracted with your insurance, our Service Coordinators work to acquire the necessary documentation, and we can bill the service/repair work to your provider.

We are committed to integrity at Monroe Wheelchair and that means that we service/repair the equipment that we sell to our customers. In some cases, equipment that was not purchased through Monroe Wheelchair, can be repaired by our repair technicians.

After Hours Service & Repair Policies:

Monroe Wheelchair offers 24-hour emergency service 7 days a week for our customers. Unfortunately, Insurance companies do not pay for this service, and you will likely be asked to pay a call-out fee upfront that could range from $150.00 to $250.00. You may reach our 24-hour emergency on-call person at the following numbers: Albany 518-871-3727 | Rochester 585-484-0249 | Syracuse 315-378-9795.

This covers emergency service that could be hazardous to the health and well-being of our patients; for example, the seat tilt is stuck in full-tilt, and the chair is unable to move back to a correct position. Emergency After-Hours service does not cover repairs or replacements. We cannot replace any items or handle any permanent repairs with our Emergency After-Hours services. If repairs/replacements are needed for Complex Rehab Technology products, please request service through our online form or by calling our service department.
